Gustavito releases the single Lembrete in April 2020. The popular chorus song and lyrics filled with existential senses is already known by a good part of the artist's audience, and has been winning admirers for some time. The song was written in partnership with Chicó do Céu and Luiz Gabriel Lopes six years ago and has been part of the repertoire of the three singers since then. Its lyrics talk about self-knowledge, and it proposes a reflection on the past, pointing towards a promising future.
The message brings several "reminders", such as the importance of knowing how to recognize one's essence; that as a collective we are all under the same sun, in the same boat; and that the moment is to wake up to a new crossing because everything is always starting over and renewing itself! The poetry of six years ago is like a letter exchanged between friends who love each other very well, and its extremely personal meaning fits very well in the current context through which human civilization is going. We are driven to a moment of forced introspection and slowing down of life, which can be seen as an opportunity to rethink individual and collective patterns of behaviour.
The song was recorded by Chico Neves at Estúdio 304, mixed and mastered by Rafael Dutra at Estúdio Motor, both located in Minas Gerais state in Brazil. The musicians Rafael Martini (keyboards), Paulim Sartori (electric bass) and Yuri Vellasco (drums) participate in the track.
The track is also being released with a music video produced in São Paulo by Boralaprodutora.com
